Who is responsible
csmcouncil.com is operated by Miescher OPS GmbH, Schweighofweg 6, 6010 Kriens, Switzerland (Commercial Register of the Canton of Lucerne, UID CHE-474.270.008). Contact: info@csmcouncil.com. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the GDPR.
What we collect on this website
This site has no accounts. When you visit, our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, browser, time of request) to deliver the page and keep it secure. This is necessary to run the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used to identify you.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the CSM Council Newsletter, we process your email address (and first name, if you give it) to send you the newsletter, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You confirm your sign-up by email, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We keep your data until you unsubscribe. The newsletter is sent with Kit (ConvertKit LLC, USA).
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data: page views are counted in aggregate, and visitors are told apart only by a short-lived hash that is reset every day. This helps us understand which pages are useful (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
We only use analytics or advertising tools if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you reject or close the banner, none are loaded. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and request data portability. You can also complain to a supervisory authority (in Switzerland the FDPIC, in the EU the authority of your country).
